Canada at 150 offered an opportunity to use art as a tool to reflect on our collective histories look towards a shared future and have a conversation about our land, people and diverse cultures
Through learning, participation, and inspiration, we create better understanding, respect, pride and encourage action.
LandMarks2017/Repères2017 was a contemporary art project to creatively inspire people to (re)connect with the land. This project took place in Canada’s national parks and historic sites. It was a national collaboration between curators, artists, art students and local communities. A national curriculum was specially designed for 16 universities across the country.
