Laura Moore is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in sculpture. Her work has a lengthy engagement with technological obsolescence, the consume/waste economy and climate change. Moore’s art practice is an extension of her own personal beliefs on sustainability and waste-reduction. 

Moore’s work often begins with a found object, a hand-me-down or outdated gadget. She utilizes electronics as stand-ins for connectivity and memory; merging nature with technology to remind viewers of both the human impact on the environment and the digital era’s impact on us.
