Partners in Art is proud to support The Longhouse Labs Program (LLabs), an ambitious project focused on offering three concurrent paid artist residency fellowships to Indigenous artists, to be complimented by dynamic public engagement programs and educational activities to support the Fellow’s creative research.
Situated in the heat of the Haldimand Tract, the LLabs aims to be a regional and national arts leader providing unprecedented facilities and creative programming that strategically advances Indigenous artistic practices, creative leadership, heritage preservation, alongside robust community engagement, which further supports commitments for Indigenous reconciliation at the host institution (the University of Waterloo)
