PIA commissioned three projects for fall/winter 2015-16.  The first of these projects was with Iranian-born, Toronto-based artist Abbas Akhavan, whose  practice ranges from site-specific ephemeral installations to drawing, video and performance. The second project included a two-month residency with New York artist Liz Magic Laser, best known for her provocative, engaging, and carefully thought-out and scripted performance art. The third commission was with First Nations artist Duane Linklater.
